The Haitian Education Project, Inc. is currently offering English and computer classes to the Haitian immigrants in the Tampa Bay Area. This project aims to give the immigrants the opportunity of learning English which will enable them to better integrate themselves in the larger community. Our aim is to provide non-English speaking Haitians the opportunity to have equal access to learning English and developing their reading, writing, and computer skills. With the tools that we will be offering these immigrants, they will become not only more qualified workers but also better citizens for their community.
